Day wise plan
DAY 1
Bhubaneswar Rly. Station / Airport – Puri (60 kms / 2 hrs)
Meet & Greet on arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport / Railway Station and transfer to Puri.
In the evening visit the Lord Jagannath Temple built in 15th Century AD and crowned with Vishnu’s wheel & flag dominate the landscape at Puri.
Overnight stay will be at Puri.
DAY 2
Konark Sightseeing
In the morning visit the Lord Jagannath Temple built in 15th Century AD and crowned with Vishnu’s wheel & flag dominate the landscape at Puri and also visit the famous Sun Temple at Konark and enjoy the serenity of Chandrabhaga beach nearby.
In the afternoon, you can enjoy long stretch of golden beach, shallow enough to walk out a long distance, with superb surf.
Evening free for shopping at Sea side where you can get some unique ornaments & showpieces made by Shell.
Overnight stay will be at Puri.
DAY 3
Gopalpur via Chilika (180 Km / 8 hrs)
Early morning witness the sunrise at golden beach, Puri.
After breakfast drive to Gopalpur, en-route visit through Raghurajpur the heritage craft village, Mangalajodi (another end of Chilika lagoon).
Experience the country boat ride (at own cost) and explore bird sighting (local & migratory) in a very close by. (Winter is the best time to visit Mangalajodi).
OR
Chilika Lagoon at Barkul.
Enjoy the motor boat ride in the largest brackish water lagoon of Asia and explore Nalabana bird’s sanctuary (popular for migratory birds), Kalijai Island and temple.
Later proceed to Gopalpur. On arrival, check-in at hotel.
Overnight stay will be at Gopalpur.
DAY 4
Excursion trip to Chandragiri & Taptapani (120 kms/3 hrs One Way)
After breakfast drive to Chandragiri a Tibetan refugee colony known as Mini Tibet, situated in between the lush green forest – a unique Destination for the Buddhist, where we can visit Jirang Monastery one of the largest Buddhist Monastery in Southeast Asia.
Later Proceed to Taptapani the hot sulphur water spring. On the way back to Gopalpur visit Padmanavpur cotton Sari weaving village.
Evening free for independent activities.
Overnight stay will be at Gopalpur.
DAY 5
Gopalpur – Bhubaneswar Temple Tour (200 kms. / 8 hrs.)
After Breakfast Check-out and transfer to Bhubaneswar.
En-route visit the unique textile village at Olasing famous for Khandua Pattern Kosa Silk Sari and Cotton Sari both.
On arrival check-in to hotel. After fresn en up visit the temples of temple city such as Parasurameswar, Mukteswara, Rajarani and Brahmeswar.
Overnight stay will be at Bhubaneswar.
DAY 6
Bhubaneswar Sightseeing
After breakfast visit Lingraj Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the oldest temple where non-hindu are not allowed inside the temple premises.
Later proceed to Udaigiri and Khandagiri Jain caves belong to 2nd Century BC, & Nandan Kanan which contains a botanical garden and part of it has been declared as sanctuary famous for its white tiger population (Closed on Monday).
Evening you can enjoy shopping at Ekamra Haat buying local handicrafts and other goodies.
Overnight stay will be at Bhubaneswar.
DAY 7
Bhubaneswar Hotel – Bhubaneswar Rly. Station / Airport
After breakfast check out from hotel, transfer to Bhubaneswar Airport / Railway Station for your onwards journey

Such additional costs are also applicable for usage of vehicle and guide beyond the specified time or normal working hours as mentioned above. Any cost arising due to unforeseen events like landslides, road blockage, political disturbances (strikes), etc. Such expenses will be recovered directly from the guests on the spot. Any increase in government taxes or fuel price, leading to increase in cost on surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure.
